As you already know, my name is Kristin M, I was born in March of 2000, making me 12 going on 13. I have only one younger sister Erin--age 10-- and are both very close, she's basically my best friend. I've shared a room with her the majority of my life, stick to her like glue absolutely everywhere, and we side by side did a jewelry sale to raise money for Japan at a music concert.
Why do I have this blog? I honestly just use it to post, for lack of a better word, WHATEVER. I just kind of put out any random thing I feel like posting. Life, creations, thoughts, randomness of moi! I also have another blog, K's Journal, that's specifically based on my writing and poetry.
I'm currently in 7th grade at Northwood Junior High. My favorite subject is obviously writing(duh), but I also enjoy reading, art, and usually social studies depending on what we're studying. Ignoring the social studies part, I usually like doing anything in class that doesn't include logic or facts. . . :) I also play flute in the school band(though I might drop it for other activities) and may be starting the debate team this November.
Outside of school I spend most of my time as a dancer(I do modern, ballet), doing it 3 days a week all through the school year. In the winter I ski with my Dad and in the summer I do swim team for the Fairwood Barracudas in the morning 5 days a week. This fall I'm going on my first hunting trip, also with my Dad. With the free time I have available, I like to paint, write, make jewelry, hang out with friends, listen(or more specifically dance like a crazy maniac) to music, and some other arts and crafts stuff. In the summer our family likes to do some camping and travel occasionally, though we haven't done an international trip quite yet.
I'm not really sure how to describe my personality, honestly. I'm pretty energetic around kids my age or younger, but tend to be pretty quite around people who are slightly older or I don't know real well, I guess. I may come across as serious through my writing and poetry... I'm not. Like, at all. I'm kind of a spaz and little dorky in some ways, but I guess I'm really one to care all that much. I'm a fun lover but couldn't describe myself as careless really. I do believe that happiness is the true key to life, and doing what you love is the only way to be so.
